SETTLEMENT SUMMARY

After 14 months---including approximately 30 days of our time to answer questions, provide documentation and meeting "experts" hired by the Insurance Copany at the Building---our Attorney, Myndee Reed [ http://www.martindell.com/attorneys/Myndee+M./Reed/ ] sent a 12 page "Demand for Settlement" letter to Cincinnati Insurance Companies lawyer on August 6, 2010.

Just as our "Demand Letter" letter was being finalized, documentation from Cincinnati was uncovered which acknowledging our "loss amount" to be in excee of what we were demanding. Unbeknowst to Cincinnati, this "smoking gun" immediateldy changed the focus of the "Demand Letter/Statement of Loss". Subsequently on Tuesday morning, August 19th, our attorney received a "Settlement Accetance Officer" from Cincinnati's Atonry who they only hired in March of this year (2010) 

The Final Settlement Check has arrived, we have commenced re-construction of our home and have a target move in date of April 1---"No Foolin" as our move back-in date. To paraphrase President Ford, "Our long...nightmare is over".
